General Certificate of Education (GCE)
General Certificate of Education (GCE) refers the A-Level examination conducted in the United Kingdom. According to UK Examination Boards, statistics show that 25% of students achieved A or above in various GCE examinations, compared to less than 5% of students to do so in HKALE. GCE is recognised by local universities as a valid qualification for university entrance via non-JUPAS. The examination has the following characteristics:
Recommended Study TimeEach GCE subject consists of 4 to 6 modules. In general, we recommend a stuy time of 48 hours for each module to secure a C grade. For students who target for an A grade or above, we recommend a study time of 96 hours for each module.
